Chiropractic First and 2nd Street Massage are located in an elegantly restored 4000 sq. ft. 1930's English style home in Beaverton, Oregon. It has coved ceilings painted with a cloudy blue sky mural, sunshine colored Venetian plaster walls, honey colored oak hardwood floors, soft Persian style wool rugs, a cozy antique tile fireplace, rich mahogany woodwork, large picture windows with a view of the West Hills and all of the charm of a home of its day. Dr. Christopher Pierce and Dr. Huma Pierce are Oregon Board Licensed Chiropractic Physicians. The Drs. Pierce are recognized Chiropractic Biophysics/Clinical Biomechanics of Posture (CBP) Fellows. The Drs. Pierce teach CBP to Chiropractors at seminars throughout the United States, Europe and Canada. Jessie Morlan is a Certified Oregon Chiropractic Assistant, Certified Spinal X-ray Technician and Insurance Billing Specialist. Tanya Ward, LMT and Lizzie Hamilton, LMT are Board Licensed Oregon Massage Therapists and Certified Oregon Chiropractic Assistants. Lizzie Hamilton is also a Certified Spinal X-ray Technician. Chiropractic First is known throughout the world as "The Posture Experts." Chiropractic First specializes in posture correction and spinal health maintenance through Clinical Biomechanics of Posture/Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP). A wide variety of Chiropractic techniques are available customizable to each patient's special needs. We look beyond the symptoms to find the cause of dis-ease in the body, and correct it. Our philosophy toward health is guided by the knowledge that our bodies are self-healing. Healing is ultimately controlled by the brain and nervous system. Stresses, strains and injuries can prevent your body from healing and communicating properly. The Chiropractor's job is to find where the distress is occurring on your nervous system and to remove the cause of the stress, allowing your body to heal naturally without nerve interference.
One of our techniques of expertise is Chiropractic Biophysics/Clinical Biomechanics of Posture (CBP). CBP utilizes gentle Mirror Image postural adjustments personally tailored to each patient's needs. Adjustments may include use of the doctor's hands, an Omni Drop Table and sometimes a CBP Adjusting Instrument. CBP also uses Mirror Image postural exercises designed to improve balance and symmetry throughout the whole body. The benefits of balanced posture include pain-free ranges of motion, improved balance, and increased strength and stamina. It is common for our patients to increase the thickness of the discs in their spine, grow taller, and stop the process of spinal degeneration (osteoarthritis). Payments Accepted:
Chiropractic First accepts all forms of Health Insurance. Chiropractic First is a provider for the Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon Federal Employee Program (FEP). Please note that Chiropractic, Massage and Physiotherapy coverage differs between varied providers. We will gladly call your insurance provider for you when you come in for your first visit. We will let you know exactly what services are covered on your return visit with us for your review of findings, doctor's best recommendations and treatment plan.
Creative financing with or without insurance is available on a one-on-one basis. Personal Injury and Workers Compensation cases are billed directly to the appropriate health insurance parties. Medicare clients are also welcome. Chiropractic First has insurance billing specialists trained to quickly and accurately verify your insurance benefits for care. Prior to beginning care with us, we will review our fees for services with you and happily answer any of your questions. Generally most of our fees follow the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Guideline Fee Schedule and are updated yearly. 2nd Street Massage:
2nd Street Massage is located conveniently on the 2nd floor above Chiropractic First. The massage suites are open Monday through Saturday. Appointments are available morning, afternoon and evening on most days. We have several Massage suites, and a variety of Massage packages for you to choose from. Our Chiropractic and Massage patients love the convenience of having their Beaverton/Portland Chiropractor and Beaverton/Portland Massage Therapist in the same building. Posture Massage and Medical Massage services are available to anyone who has recently been injured in a motor vehicle accident MVA. Our doctors can determine the appropriate type of Medical Massage care for you and the Massage services will be covered by your car insurance. Booking ahead is strongly encouraged due to the popularity of our Massage services and packages, especially around holiday times. The Drs. Pierce have developed a new form of massage called Posture Massage. This form of massage is designed to compliment the corrective care programs developed in Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP). Posture Massage may speed up the corrective care process of spinal remodeling back to a normal model, thus strengthening the spine and better protecting the nervous system and allowing for improved activity and healing.

Chiropractic First exclusively provides all-natural Physiotherapy. Our Physiotherapy suites are exercise and education based, not electric or chemical modality based. We utilize new diagnostic equipment such as a 425ma high-frequency X-ray unit.
